Newfoundland road trip

A long drive is a lot easier with beautiful scenery – and my great poppy : )

On the Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada, with my great poppy (grandfather).

Visited Arnold’s Cove Interfaith Cemetery and learned where my name came from – Marshall, the maiden name of my late great nanny (grandmother).

Jacket by Baby Gap; hoodie and trousers by American Apparel Kids; boots by Joe Fresh kids.

Yep, tears. This is just so special. Wish our Nanny could be in these photos, she would just adore Marshall to the nth degree (obviously!).
What else can I say? Pop’s lookin sexy, Marshall’s lookin sexy and Newfoundland, well hello, sexiest province there is.
    Thank you for this one.
    Superb photo skills.
Loving the Big Stop Irving. Did Marshall love the moose?

    • Thanks Lori. This was a smaller Irving just outside St John’s, poppy and I were already hungry and couldn’t wait :) I didn’t see any moose!

Irving is an Irving and the main thing is, Marshall looked like a fashion lord while getting his eats.
His boots are my fav part of the outfit.

Oh, my! An irving Big Stop. Love it. Been in London over 20 years and something just swells up in me when I see an Irving Station unexpectedly like this, just surfing the net as there is nothing on telly but Casulty and my own 7 year old boy is in bed. He loves Atlantic Canada too Marshall – although he hasn’t yet been to Newfoundland – maybe next time we’ll stop over in St. John’s on the flight back from Nova Scotia.
