Meets Easter Bunny, is terrified

My friend and I went for an Easter egg hunt, hosted by the Easter Bunny himself.

I should have realised that a giant bunny wearing a bow tie would be terrifying.

My friend cried, I hid.

He tried to fist bump me. I said “no”.

Look at him.

We came around when we heard he had lots of chocolate. We had fun looking for it.

It was a nice afternoon, but I was happy to say goodbye until next year. Serves us right for not going to church.

I SO get it, Little Man. I was terrified of the Easter Bunny when I was your age. I’d wake up in the morning to a half-bitten carrot left behind by a giant rabbit on our kitchen table…a remnant of his visit (thanks, Mom). All that chocolate, however, more than made up for it! Happy Easter : )

The curious part of me really wants to understand where he gets all that chocolate from… But the intelligent part of just takes the chocolate and runs.

Happy Easter to you too xo :)
