Happy Halloween

This is the first year that I am actively involved in the concept of Halloween, which I understand to be a day when:

1. I get to wear a costume everywhere AND

2. People have to give me candy because I am wearing a costume.

I asked my mum to make me a pumpkin costume and thanks to Ashley’s costume suggestion of a Sock Monkey, mum was inspired to knit a me a lovely suit.

As if knitting one costume wasn’t enough, I requested a matching costume for my toy sloth – this way I get to eat double the candy, since we all know toy sloths can’t open their mouths. I have tested this theory and can confirm it to be accurate.

Here’s to a candy wing man and double the treats this Halloween. xo

That is one of the cutest costumes I have ever seen. And one of the most cunning candy plans I have ever heard.
