My favourite looks of 2012

To round-off 2011 I asked everyone to nominate my top looks. I forgot to ask this time (eep!) – and since we all know that it’s basically illegal to end the year without some kind of retrospect/list, I have taken the liberty of selecting the best of 2012 myself:

10 January 2012: The essential fuzzy hat

It was soooo cold in Toronto. The fact that this looked good was a bonus.

24 January 2012: The matching outfits

Anything that my great poppy wears is automatically haute couture in my books.

2 February 2012: The pattern-mixing

If we go by comments, with 127 this was your favourite look. And these boat trousers, *I die*.

17 February 2012: The Londoner

The tacky souvenir shirt made me feel so post-hipster.

24 February 2012: The neon

My uncle Kirk couldn’t look directly at my shirt without sunnies.

11 April 2012: The accessories

 Two of my must-haves.

4 May 2012: The red carpet

My first fashion week appearance called for a three-piece suit with a dash of colour and a generous serving of sparkle.

30 May 2012: The animal print

Sharks are sooo hot right now. I also rate the look on daddy’s face.

28 June 2012: The basic shirt

When in doubt – stripes.

30 July 2012: The statement piece

“Aladdin Sane” is not my favourite Bowie album. I prefer “Peter and the Wolf.”

16 August 2012: The shoes

When you can’t decide, wear both.

3 October 2012: The photobomb

Nothing says VIP like a pair of Batman pjs.

30 October 2012: The blockbuster

Gangnam style for halloween – me and 1,000,000,000 other people.

16 November 2012: The band shirt

It will fit one day. Until then, I will wear it as a nightgown. Everywhere.

3 December 2012: The streetwear

Nothing says street like trousers that don’t fit.

7 December 2012: The trousers

Combining the ultimates: harem, floral, neon. I get goosebumps just thinking about them.

23 December 2012: The sweater

Just LOOK at it.

Thank you everyone for another amazing year.

Here’s to a 2013 full of fluoro, floral prints and friends xo
